I voted Prophet because in my history of listening to Hardstyle, Scantraxx and anyone who collaborated with Scantraxx artists (even before they were signed on, like DB&STF). In fact, I'd go as far as saying that Scantraxx is responsible for pushing and creating most of the nu-style, but theirs is pretty decent. Anything like Ran-D, current Alpha Twins, B-front, I seriously HATE that brand of nustyle, it's boring as shit... But, I think the specific people who started Nustyle were Deepack and Zatox as said earlier, and HHZ, and Showtek, Wildstylez, .... Who the fuck voted Pila?!

... what do you mean who voted pila, thats pretty correct if you ask me. go listen to his qlimax 05 set, closest 05 set to nustyle other than zany.

Pila has never released anything that would turn the hardstyle upside down into something new

That set barely had any Nustyle in it, it was Hardstyle of that day and age. Nustyle started in 2006, but it was very small. 2007 is when it got bigger, 2008 was the year it got fucking huge. Now it's a full erection, penetrating the ears of everyone, painfully. Zany if I recall didn't do much Nustyle back then eithe,r and his style isn't Nustyle. Fusion Records has its own brand of Hardstyle that isn't close to Nu.

like you said. Qlimax anthems are great examples for it:
Headhunterz - The Power Of The Mind(2007) was hard & dark with bit longer melody
Technoboy - Next Dimensional World(2008) first not dark anthem of Qlimax, hard dance shit

what the fuck at mentioning all these names _O-
- Luna, Pavo or Alpha Twins don't produce.
- The first album from Showtek (2007) was proper hardstyle, they always did their own thing, and they still do.
- Pila = nustylez producerz lulz _O- _O-
- Technoboy and the saifam crew surely didn't introduce the nu-style sounds, just have a listen to what they produced from 2005 till 2007-2008.

nu-style sounds were def introduced by nu producers like hhz, DBSTF, Josh&Wesz and cie. they introduced pitched basslines, metallic sounds, new type/use of vocals, also Sissy shit in the climaxes of their tracks.

People nowadays tend to think that the correct order is: early hardstyle, and after that came nustyle and nothing else. People don't know the definition of nustyle.

The real instigator of nustyle is the prophet btw when he decided to sign people like hhz, ws, and dbstf.
