Yeaaaah ! A great one ! No idea why TheXQz voted negative ...
X-Ploded -
Thank you ;) I was exausted when I mixed it :))
heny -
Maybe because he didn't like the tracklist or the fact that X-Ploded uprated his own set.
TheXQz -
'cause I got high. Laaa la da da
Tracklists sucks indeed. thats already worth a minus, but the big minus is that 6 out of 7 plus-voters are swiss who hardly ever show up at this site.

@TheXQz
I'm a friend of X-Ploded, but if i didn't like the tracklist, i vote negative ^^
I LOVE this tracklist, so i vote positive, it's not because X-Ploded is a friend ^^

Seriously what's the problem here ?

We support a talented Swiss Dj because he desserved it ! That's all, I like his mix, I like the way he works, I like the person and... GODAM ! I LIKE THIS SET ! So I'm free to + vote even if I don't post every day or what ?

XQZ - Everytime I come here when I'm looking for some sets, I see your comments where you spit on Swiss Dj's, small dj's or "commercial" tracklists... if it's true, I think you definitively desserve a big minus !

To bad we can't rate the users...

I'm proud of the tracklist, I'm proud of the Dj, I'm proud of my vote ! That's all !

STOP YAPPING... If there wasen't a rating system... This would be a goddamn boring site...

So 2 people didn't like it, it's not that the earth is dying...
Defenition of Feedback= positive & NEGATIVE commentary and learn about your mistakes

Understood?
Next time i see a discussion like this i'm blocking the comments ;) and that's even worse than a negative vote ;)
Garwis -
I know, I have no problem with the rating system, but I'm little bit upset with people who posts again and again "this tracklist sucks" or "I don't know the people who wotes"... and in the comment of XQZ we have BOTH lol I'm a little tired with people who judges others and/or think they're all mighty...

Now I relax myself no worry... it was just an angry comment

It's enough to only remove TheXQz's ridiculous comment.

you are free to vote indeed, but so am I. My red vote was questioned first here by one of you swiss friends. My response was indeed why I questioned your vote in return.

I never spit on any particular DJ that is from a specific country. Tracklists being commercial: Yes, that's definitely my opinion, every "small DJ" uses the same tracks, there is almost no single set that surprises me with something different. There are thousands of hardstyle tracks and yet only a handful are played. Only Mind.Illusion and some other DJ's vary between 2010/2011 tracks and 2007/2008 or earlier tracks.

Besides that, I indeed dislike most of the new hardstyle tracks, most are way too commercial. And I am allowed to votge negative for that.

I am glad that from all the users, you find my comment ridiculous :worship: I am glad that you balance things out with your negative vote on my most recent set :worship:

oh and if you must know opperhoofd, I had already voted negative before I noticed that detail :)

anyway, to me this is end of discussion :)

There are thousands of hardstyle tracks... true and agree !!! But how many quality (and playble) tracks ? Are we forced to play old tunes to be credible ? (Are we forced to come here every day to justify one vote ? :-))

Personaly (and I write for X-Ploded) when I mix (and especially when I rec my set) I like to play new tracks that I don't know yet so much and see how can I build an ambiance with them... or what atmosphere I will have at the end.

I'm much more excited to play and work with new things than mix always the same old tunes that I know perfectly, and excuse me, today (despite they have my support !) there's no many "non-commercial artist" who produce "clean" tracks with a good sound a good structure and a good story... only (always the same I agree) "big stars" produce pure tracks that kick your ass direct to Saturn. And excuse me, if a track is "commercial" it's not necessary a shit (and a non-commercial track is not necessary a floorburner)

We are in hardSTYLE... it's much more than a music kind, it's a "style" I think... a style which evolve trough time with evolutions and steps... but it's STILL a STYLE (always the same structure, the same codes, ...) so I think it's normal if tracks looks like similar, and especially when they are clean produced in music industry.

For example Starfucker of Coone (which is a commercial track from your point of view) the melodie gives me eargasms everytime I here it... like the old "Tanz Electric" from Zatox or "Survivor of Hardstyle" by Philippe Rochard... you can "fight" and minus vote for "commercial track" but not forget that is YOUR opinion, you can't judge the feelings of the people... no ?

(it's my point of view)

And don't vote just for the tracklist, take care of the set, the construction, the mix itself (everybody can press "play" on a turntable, but not everybody mix well), the atmosphere... I don't know... it's "strange" for me that you're on this website and you vote only for the TL

come on.. stop this discussion and enjoy the music ;)
X-Ploded -
I do not care at all if a track is commercial or not ! The only thing that is important to me is the feeling a track provide to me.

If a track give an emotion to me, i bet he will do to the public too ... And most of the time my feeling is guiding me to the right way.

I love to mix HardStyle, Trance, Hardtrance, GOA, Progressive minimal, everything that give emotion to me.

It is too bad to judge a set only looking at the playlist, I better not vote if I do not like the playlist, and I will evaluate only the artistical added value that a DJ provide and the technique.

If you have any constuctive remarks and would like to say something that make improve things for me an the scene, I would love to hear.

Have a nice week-end and enjoy the music !
Cheers ! Marc

this discussion has been going on for ages. I don't only vote for TL I also listen sets that apeal to me, like the silvio Aquilo set that has recently been uploaded.

about the hardSTYLE part. I am well aware of the structure of hardstyle, I am producing it myself, for about 2 years now. I just dislike recent developments in the hardstyle music.

@ X-Ploded I totally agree with you that tracks need to trigger an emotion, however that emotion has been very rare for me the last 1.5 years.. Chaos was the last track that could give me such a feeling, before that I loved(and still love) atrocious and reputation game ^.^

but ok I will give your set a listen for the mixing quality and give feedback on that

no hard feelings? haha

cheers
