Yeah its small but its a top atmosphere and its always a quality crowd :thumbsup2:

Fair doos mate you should have got me to introduce you to him, even if your still staying up inverness way im sure you would come down and play at it if he liked your mix 8-)

Thats good man what club is it? Will be good to play a lot of different styles out aswell

New club called Cake. Used to be a total pumping club back in the day but had the repuation to attract hundreds of Bams. Still gonna get that kind crowd now but i reckon cause its a total variety of sounds it wont be some plebs cups of tea. Dubstep, Drum n Bass, Fidget House, Techno, Tech House, House, Electro has all been played in the first few days.

Inverness just lacks enough people with a decent taste in music so its always gonna struggle unless they can get a regular crowd. Hopefully it will do alright though, been busy as fuck the first weekend; totally packed both nights.

I'll maybe send him another mix cause i mind watching a bit of the set from the other lads at the end of the night and didnt think it was the best choice of tracks going from Donkey Rollers - The Last City On Earth to Tuneboy - Re-Generate it. Mind the Transition wasn't that tight too, but to be hoenst when ive played out live ive found it hard to tell with beat matching cause the sound system was that loud. I was told it was a good set but i definitely know of a few mistakes i made. I've got to be too much of a perfeciontist though cause of the radio show and cause i have enough time to keep doing them till they sound right.

With a bit of practice in this new club though i'lll soon see how good a dj i actually am i reckon.

I think that was chris craig and stu laurie, they are really good dj's but i dont think stu is really into hardstyle as much anymore hes more into techno and house, i think that was his last set actually playing hardstyle!!! got to remember tho there set was at the end of the night and they would probably be mwi or whatever else, i know some of my mixing was a bit dodgy cos i was steaming, think i left a few tracks playing for a bit too long haha :W

Ah, Of Course

Aye that doesn't help to be fair. Both times i've played ive been out the game. Theres a handy wee room right beside the DJ booth to retire to when your needing a bit of privacy. Probably not the best thing to have there to be honest cause i reckon that could be reason as to why my mixing was suffering a bit,

:D a was speakin tae gary lindsey on facebook & he used that tae & a thought what the fuck is mwi... felt like a tit afterwards

About the Pro status, if it was judged by if people make a living of DJing then there would be barely any big name DJ's in the Pro section. Most DJ's & Producers now have to support themselves by other means & there is some big names included in that.

Lol, i know that too. When i say make a living from it i mean, they could make that their living, if they wanted to survive on minimal funds. Theres some suprisingly big names that i know of that have full time jobs.
