Well if thats the case there's loads of miss labeled sets on here & you have to take out all the 2003-2005 sets & put them in with the Hardstyle genre.

But I wouldn't say its like that.

There is clearly 2 different styles of Hardstyle.

1 From the start till about 2005 you have the Early Style, the Techno House sounds with the reverse bass.

&

2 From 2005 onwards you have the New Style, much harder kicks & the introduction of big melody choruses.

But regardless of whether you think its a timeline or style.

1 thing remains, the tracks still need to be Hardstyle for them to be Early Hardstyle not Hard Trance not Hard House but actual Hardstyle.

Well since Hardstyle tracks had both Hard Bass Techno & Hard House Elements in them, Yes Hard Techno & Hard House sounds.

Why do you think producers from Italy & Holland were creating these tracks first?

Because back then the Italians were in to Hard Bass Techno (Techno with the reverse bass) & Holland were into Hard House (among others). Both of these styles came together to make Hardstyle.

You're wrong.

The Masochist' style was already called New Style. So New Style is Hardcore not Hardstyle. :W

you are wrong too

Newstyle is another word of Chicago Hardhouse, which started in the 90's with artists as DJ Trajic, Mark V & Poogie Bear, etc.
Then flew over to holland, where the hardcore dj's picked it up (best known was Da Tekno Warriors // Paul & Neophyte)
