No it isn't, Scot Project has never created a Hardstyle track.

Back then it was strictly Hard Trance for Scot Project.

how long have you been listening hardstyle?

because i can talk, i've been listening hardstyle since 2002-2003, but even then i picked up alot of the older ones
it was already called hardstyle back then

*nostalgic memories of FFWD 2003, where i got totally loose on scot project tracks*

I've been listening to Hardstyle from nearly the start, 2002.
& before that I've been listening to Hard House & Hard Trance from 1997.

Most tracks that people say are Early Hardstyle are actually Hard House & Hard Trance including the track you think is Early Hardstyle - Yakooza - French Kiss (Scot Project Remix)

2002 was the year that producers started to catch on to Hardstyle & make Hardstyle tracks. By 2003 there were loads of Hardstyle tracks so the DJ's could make sets entirely of Hardstyle, they didn't have to use Hard House & Hard Trance tracks to fill up the sets anymore.

True Loony, but ppl can't make a "Early Hardstyle" track if its 2001.
Same with Hardcore, you can't make a "Early Hardcore" track.
The tracks will get to that, but how that works i don't know.

PS: Nevio ur just a internethulk which don't dare to post his comments here and let TimTim do it. :clown:

well..if you produce a track that has got all elements of a early hardstyle track, it will at least sound like a track from the past...but i don't know whether you can label such a track as being a early hardstyle track...

i guess 'style definition' is based on typical (style)elements of the track in combination with the date it has been released

No they can't make a Early Hardstyle track if its 2001, it would just be called Hardstyle.

The only way it should be Early Hardstyle is if it was originally labeled as Hardstyle back in 2001-2002.

Done like this there is no more confusion with what is Early Hardstyle & this problem goes away.

If it has Early Hardstyle elements in it but it is produced today it would just be called Hardstyle.

There's an example of this Cally & Juice - You Don't Know Me (Activator Remix)
