Silvia Aquila has established himself as one of the best early hardstyle dj's around, applying his trade on Fear.FM as a resident dj there and also taking part in Hardstations fantastic early hours radio show. Silvio will blast out some of the hardest tunes that were at the forefront of the hardstyle movement 10 years ago!

Thursday the 24th of February

On this week's Gearbox we have a full on Hardstyle night giving time to the varied styling of X-Pander, Crysonic and upcoming Theracords artists Danny V. and Creators Project.

His past Gearbox sets have proven he is capable of making banging sets and you can't expect anything less than that this week!

In the third hour you'll be entertained by our newest residents, Creators Project, a talented Hardstyle DJ duo from Denmark who are known for their fast mixing, bringing to you yet another diverse hour for your listening pleasure. Finally finishing the night off Crysonic will play a set with no restrictions blending Hardstyle with Hardtrance, Techtrance and more.

Spoontech Newsletter - March '11.by Spoontech Records on Tuesday, 08 March 2011 at 11:52.

Hey all,

Time for a newsletter, its been a bit hectic lately so I didn't get a chance to do a Feb one but we will make up for it :)

Last month we had the huge release from Hardstyle Mafia with Hellhound E.P, support was huge and so glad to have these guys on board with us. Bro fist.

A fair amount has been going on with Spoontech over the past few months so I will try and keep you all up to date as much as I can. We have new signings, new bookings and of course new releases.

So you already know about Vazard, Delete and Hardstyle Mafia but let me shed some light on who you can expect to deliver spoony goodness over the next few months.

ST

First up is ST, the perth nut with a love for reverse bass. The next release on Spoontech will showcase ST and his early hardstyle influenced party hardstyle. If you like your hardstyle early, groovy and driving be sure to check out Popped & Locked and Supercharged on the next release. With previous releases on Aussie Hardstyle his sound continues to refine with his unique flair he brings to Spoontech.

No official bio as of yet but be sure to become a fan on his facebook page:

Digital Abuse

This polish duo caught my attention with the release of Heavy Rain on Hard Hammer last year, I was already a fan of their work and when a demo came through I thought they would be an excellent addition to the Spoontech army.

With an early hardstyle character in their tracks they have one mission, to deliver hard and rough beats without any piss farting around, simple yet energetic. If you like the dark themed earlier gated style of hardstyle then you will love Digital Abuse. Be sure to keep a look out for their next release Gate to Hell which explains what they are all about.

Official Bio

Hardstyle duo, by two friends from Poznan. Paweł Pietrasiak and Piotr Pawlak. For many years, they were hardly interested in many generes of club music. They were still searching for a music, that will show theirselves, until they have met at the begining of year 2009. Paweł is a dj, almost, since he was a child; Piotr for just few years. The thing they were looking for was very simple - duo shows. From the begining of their career, they work hard, appearing in clubs all over the Poland, and spending all the rest of their time at producing. They have played in local clubs, but nothing can stop them, and they have also played in most popular clubs in Poland. Every day is a next step forward, and it is just the begining of their journey trought the musical world...

They have played with such a great artists like:

Zany, Headhunterz, Wildstylez, Max B Grant, Thilo, D-block & S-te-Fan, Isaac, Tatanka, Alpha 2, Jowan, Alex Kidd, Kutski, Davide Sonar, ASYS, Digital Punk, Scope DJ, Dutch Master, Abbys & Judge, Mc DV8, Mc Chuky, Mc M-Shane and others...

Prefix & Density

As Delete and I usually like to describe their type of style: we call its nuts out gunky hard as fuckstyle. The rawest of the rawstyle. If you like dark and heavy then this dutch duo is for you, mixing intense melodies with outrageous screeches and rough as guts kicks. Their forthcoming Warning E.P is sure to rattle a few foundations which will also include a just as tough remix from rising stars Phuture Noize as well as solo tracks from both Prefix and Density.

Check out the Prefix & Density webpage: http://www.prefix-density.com/

Official Bio

Wouter (Prefix) and Bas (Density) met over the internet.

They decided to collaborate because they were impressed by each other’s skills, Radicalz was born.

They developed a rough and raw style that was easy recognizable.

Wouter started making music with basic software.

A passion for music started to develop that never went away.

Wouter’s style is considered very experimental because he uses insane sounds that blow everyone away.

Bas started producing when he was fifteen years old with Fruity Loops Studio.

He pushed through to a stage where he was able to produce semi-professionally.

Bas’ speciality is to produce heavy kicks and basses, he simply can’t get enough!

The two first met after six months because they live so far apart.

When the time was finally there, it immediately clicked and the joy of making music together kept growing and growing.

The name ‘Radicalz’ was abolished after some time, Prefix and Density was born.

Wouter and Bas planned to produce more rougher tracks under this name.

Keep your eyes out for these two!
