Feedback / Idea about bad votes

Hello all,

I was wondering because i often visit the site to check for any updates and to check about how people will respond on posted tracklists etc.
The thing i noticed is that there are alot of complains concerning bad votes. Maybe its just me but some people just live in a sad world or something haha.

Wouldn't it be a good idea to force people, when publishing a "RED" vote to post a comment on the liveset. It is soo lame to just vote bad and never give any comment or whatever. If you dont like the DJ/Person who mixed it well whatever you want but just tell the people why you vote bad.

Let me know what u guys think about it or maybe you can give some feedback or whatever

How would you force people. This is internet, don't forget that honey

you can never force people to do something, so its useless... you can cry about getting some mines :buuhuuuhhh: or you can just look @ the guys who do give you feedback? its about promoting you're music & getting better here right? well posting it on here will make around 500 people listen to is, from those 500 people you will prob get 1 or 2 usefull feedback and around 12+es for you every time and 3 minusses... oooh noooo??

Well its not about the bad votes. I people dont like it they dont like it.. its simple as that.

Most people vote because they either dont like the tracks or dont like the style or dont like the mixing thats fine ive been flamed for not liking a set and i gave a reason why and still got flamed, the problem is people for some reason cant accept that theres people out there who dont like the same music as they do there just stupid and best ignored this should be focused on people who vote negative because they dont like a person group nationality or genre they automatically negative vote ive noticed this with Opperhoofd on most polish sets but you know his in a league of his own.

Thers nothing wrong with negative voting its when they do it for the wrong reasons when its a problem.

For the past months I've been voting for 80% based on what i hear or like. But never red because of the mix or dj.

Example:
When i see a set, I'll look at the tracklist first. Is this okay? - Then I'll vote either a golfball or a green.

I only vote red if the mix is bad (I'll leave a feedback comment when I do so) or when the person responds agressive/arrogant inside his own subject.
That last one was alot in my sets, but recently decided to stop with it all, leaving the subject in value of what it is
It IS true that I comment when I see a track in the list I don't like, but I don't vote because of that only.

The only thing is... alot of people still sticks to what they believe a person is still like, from older experiences and that they register and vote red automaticly a person post a set.
And this is something I think should really STOP and open up their eyes.

Or just remove the voting at all and make a top 10 of most downloaded sets instead of highest rated sets.

I don't mind Red Votes as long as people give a decent reason for it.

If they haven't listened to the set they should just vote neutral, so they can vote red after listening if the mixing is really bad or something.

Just red votes for no reason is stupid.

Als iedereen eens zou stoppen met het downloaden c.q. waarderen van sets waarvan ze op voorhand al weten dat ze toch een negatief oordeel zullen vellen.

It`s all about polictics man , politics !~
and people who disslike other people vote their set in RED , just because they are jelous they cant mix themselves .
They dont even listen to the set you upload
