This week with guest: Nuno Dos Santos
Portugese-born Nuno dos Santos is inarguably one of the finest DJ's the Netherlands has to offer. After having met quite some time ago in one of Utrecht's recordstores, Invite himself has come to dub Nuno"the Dutch Laurent Garnier".
Nuno does not know boxes, as he constantly thinks outside of them. His talent at combining a multitude of different styles is unique. This translates not only to his DJ-sets; his productions and collaborations are equally well received.
All of this has resulted in releases on respected labels such as Wolfskuil, Traum, Manual Music, Trouw and Compost to name a few.
Highlight of Nuno's career so far is likely to be the album he did together with TJ Kong on Compost. Long, hard work eventually paid off when "After Dark, My Sweet" was released.
Alongside Patrice Baumel Nuno forms one half of 360 Soundsystem. They currently host their own 360 Night at Club Trouw in Amsterdam, a continuation of the same concept at now-closed Club 11.
