What do you mean with buildup, man?
Protech_DJ -
Well, only the fact that you play A New Today after Here Comes The Madness and also nearly all those tracks before confirms that you have never heard of a 'Buildup' (Thats not the only one ..)

Just that you starts with the most soft (and often most melody) tracks en then build it up to hard tracks..

I do know what buildup is and how to do it while playing...

But guys!! if you didn't notice listening the program, is was a recovery of earlier work of mine last December. This set is the actual TOP20 tracks voted at MOH Radio for best tracks of 2010. So there is a logical explanation for that tracks sequence.
I believe that it could have been better built, but is was my intention to follow the order from #20 straight to #1.
To do it in a good, clear and pleasant listening way is definitely a small challenge it self.

Either way, it was pretty dammed well achieved.

And by the way, people, pyramid buildup is not the only dj set scheme... All of that depends of time, place, event and crowd flow. If you're playing at a club that should be a lot of ups and downs though.
