Bootek’s 4 deck mash up club appearances have been encapsulating audiences around the globe over two years. Consisting of a jaw dropping, awe inspiring mash up of familiar tracks all remixed in a hard-tekk style and then mixed together across 4 decks alongside re-edits of the biggest tracks (playing over 50 tracks an hour) with added deck trickery that would impress even the most skilled deck technician!

Crowned the ‘La Roux of harddance’ by Mixmag in their recent full page feature on this future headliner, Bootek has been heavily featured in the press throughout 2009 with articles and features in Mixmag, M8 magazine, Core mag and support on numerous websites worldwide including Creamfields, Planet Love, Dontstayin and Harderfaster.

Bootek has gone global with monumental 4 deck sets at superclubs such as Goodgreef, Inside Out, Escape, Storm, Frantic, Pams House as well as International re-nound festivals including Dance Valley, Coloursfest and Atomik Weekender. Along with a debut tour of Asia taking in Tokyo, Nagoya and Seoul & trips to Ibiza & Norway!

Bullshit.

It had over 70 downloads. :bye:

You just wanted it to have the Gearbox tag, why don't you just be honest about it?

Exactly, Bootek is one of the best renound DJ's in hard dance in Britain. 70 downloads is nothing compared to what it should be getting. I expected it to get a lot more downloads reposting it. and of course i wanted the gearbox Tag on it; who wouldn't if they were running the show?

if a set is only downloaded 3 times... it still stay's on the site

I didnt delete it, i dont have the power to delete it. It made sense for Phil to have more people listening rating and being in the know, it made sense for our show and it gave people who listen to the show the chance to download the set.

I have not denied at one point that the mix wasn't exclusive for us.

In OZ people laugh hard about this stealing since they've heard his mixing at "Various - Masif Hard Dance Anthems 3".

It sucks balls hard! _O-

Same for Steve Hill and his stealing, they slowly start to hate him.

So i guess it's not even a great idea to bring it to a bigger audience. _O-

People laugh and troll about Scooter but Steve Hill and Phil York suck ever more.

Stealing samples and melodies?

Complete copying other producers songs?

Stealing.

'We' all complain about Scooter in Europe, but worldwide they laugh about Bootek.

It's childish and pathetic what he does. :D

i gotta disagree, i dont think for any minute Bootek claims to be the creator of any of the vocals or melodies. All his tracks are remixes of world wide recognised tracks purely with the intention of playing them in a live hard dance act.

He's a live act more than a producer - the whole point of his Bootek act is mixing with 4 decks. It's a side project to express a different side to him.

On top of Bootek, he manages half the hard dance artists in Britain, run's his own label and his main work as a producer and DJ is Phil York.

I suppose its not gonna be to everyones taste and you may see his productions as a cop out but i wouldnt look at it that way at all.

It's not about claiming, it's about not being creative. :bye:

Bootek is shite.

Steve Hill and Phil York suck! _O-

Each to their own i suppose.

I really like Bootek, his productions might not be creative but his mixing style and track choice is.

what a bunch of crap some of the comments here are, opperhoofd if you actually knew what phil york does behind the scenes to help artists and build talent you wouldn't say such stupid comments.

I can't really comment on steve hill so much (even though I did do a remix for him but haven't worked with him so much) but Phil has been instrumental in giving the likes of SHOCK:Force, Vandall, BRK3, Myself, Nick The Kid + Busho and many more a chance and if you heard him out he is a very talented DJ who can mix really well.
Lee_Mac_ -
why the fuck do you think bootek is called bootek, , there BOOTLEGS, , get a grip like.

Dont dis Phil, He's the man. . end of story
brian-hayes -
Oopferhord clearly doesnt have a clue cept the Steve hill part, he is garbage

Awwwww i'm sorry little boy, it wasn't my intention to make you cry. :aww:

 :(

Still Steve Hill sucks, stealing complete songs and vocals.

The whole Masif label stinks and has no talent. :bye:

Steve Hill... releasing a 6CD set... of stolen tunes! :X

Not involved, but seroiusly, you're acting like a fucktwat saying shit like that to anyone. Get a grip you fucking prick.
From what I've read, Booteck is just a DJ name, NOT producer name. He sticks to DJ roots by playing bootlegs aand spinning on multiple turntables. I've seen a lot of douchey comments from you this past year, but this takes it all. Grow the fuck up and learn how to respect people.

Agreed with the above, Opperhoofd I'm insulted you think I would give you the satisfaction of making me cry. I had a look through some of your other comments and most of them are bitter and negative.

Complete lack of respect.
MikeToshiro -
wow the comments on here are pretty childish.

Phil York is great and I'm lovin the Bootek sets. I need to grab them all :thumbsup2: Thanks for posting this set djdesudo.
