David Holmes - Essential mix of the year '1997, picked by Zane Low as his all-time best, so good it spawned an actual CD release, this mix truly is a classic. Holmes's choice - northern soul, psychedelic funk and hip hop together with Chris Caul's scratching makes for a 2 hour sonic treat.

Originally broadcast 15th June 1997, this version was the repeat aired again on 31st december 1997 after winning essential mix of the year.
