Patrick Joseph Cowley (October 19, 1950 - November 12, 1982) was a disco and Hi-NRG dance music composer and recording artist.
Hi-NRG (High-Energy) is high-tempo disco music (often with electronic instrumentation), as well as a more specific, derivative genre of electronic dance music slightly influenced by the pop music that achieved mainstream popularity in the mid to late 1980s.
