About Dj Smatik:
Having his roots in the German Punk scene, DJ Smatik had his first contact with electronic music in 2005 at the age of 16.
This was when a friend showed him some hardtechno mixtapes of Arkus P., DJ Rush, Boris S. etc., and took him to his first hardtechno events.
He instantly was very impressed by the fast and hard sounds and the ecstatic atmosphere at those parties.
So he decided to buy his first turntables and a mixer and started practicing.

During that time he discovered "The Cycore Megamix" by The Speed Freak and it blew his mind.
Since he got his first digital DJ setup in 2012 he also started playing Frenchcore.

In 2017 he and some friends funded the "Ahoj Tek Soundsystem".
Since then he organizes legal and illegal freetekno-parties in South-West Germany and shows up his definition of hard energy music, playing mostly Frenchcore, Hardtek and Hardtechno.
