I don't know about you, but I approach new music with such reserve and distrust, because I feel like everything these days has to sell like a store-bought product, or like a "two minutes track" to go viral. Fuck you, creator, if you have the money and the means, and instead of creating real music, you're just a copy-and-paste copy of one of thousands, and that's it.

"Polish audiovisual duo WIDT (Antonina Nowacka & Bogumiła Piotrowska) and acclaimed German drum & bass producer Christoph de Babalon first met in 2016 in Berlin, at Easterndaze. This resulted in TEYAS, an abstract opera released last year by Warsaw's Bocian Records and performed at Unsound 2018. It was one of the most immersive moments of the festival, combining colourful visuals that engulfed the Manggha museum concert hall, and Atonina's otherworldly yet primal voice coiling around de Babalon's electronic drones and rhythms. This podcast is a recording of that excellent show. In 2019, TEYAS are part of the SHAPE Platform."
