If the correct genre is not in the list, maybe best to choose the 'other' tag :W

Any chance to impliment "Makina" :)

Is it still okay to use the existing Genres to describe the style? This set (style) is quite simular to the style that was commercialy very successful at this time in Germany, minus vocals. A kind of Happy Hardtrance/Harddance with some ingredients to make it sound "exotic" (Millenium-Money-Making-Machine)

I thought Makina was the Spanish version of Happy Hardcore. I think together with J-Core the UK Happy Hardcore tag is the best fit. Not sure if this set would fit that tag though ^.^

I thought so too, but yet again, i´m i noob in this regards ^^ . I changed the Genre to your suggestions. However i noticed that Makina as a Genre also has a development like you see from Early Hardcore-Millenium and adopting popular emelents at the present time. Quite familiar in style to what i remeber in regards to that time in southern Germany .IF their was played something "techno" (nobody listens to techno) , it was kind of a Kontor/Vengaboys-Style :X

Black, also Hiphop with Eminem and co had a huge sucess in Germany during that time and were played in the commercial clubs, Nirvana/Grounge/Manson in the underground (the cool kids vs the real cool kids). Electronic music was litterly death and the odem of Sven Väths Cocoon Style was too far away and not matching the unterstanding and the hearthbeat of the rather rural way of live down under. :W

So in my experience, Makina as a regional phenomena reminds me of that, in the same way as this 1999 set sounds much more familiar than Sven Väth during that time in regards to the clubbing scene in south Germany.
