All Mover/PCP tracks from 1990/93. Some of it would have been techno back then but if you create these genres (oldschool or whatever?) you should use them. I'll do the tracklist sometime if I've time and remember?

I don't think that's completely true. Some of them are from the 'Selected Classics (Remastered 2017)' album. Those are the early 90's tracks. But there are also some tracks from the 'Undetected Act From The Gloom Chamber' album (a 2018 release) and there's also an album from 2002 (Frontal Frustration), but I don't know if he used some of those (2002) tracks in his latest sets.

It's the genres what my comments are really about. If you read this even though what you say is correct or not on here it's oldschool or whatever.

https://lsdb.eu/set/204430/dj-raf-hardsound-radio-no-new-style-massacre-28-09-18#c469971

On a personal opinion all these made up names early this, early that, actually make no sense. The word early meaning coming before, so early hardcore as an example would actually mean coming before hardcore which makes no sense when you think about it.

I think it was you Tweak 1976 that made a similar comment about that a few years ago or maybe it was somebody else? Whatever it's no big deal and not the end of the world and your comments are appreciated.

Oldschool seems to be the genre on here to describe anything from before tracks being called Gabba or Hardcore pre 1992 when it was mostly techno, house etc
from that era. No point in going on about where the word Gabba originated from that has been well documented through the years.

This set is worth a listen in my opinion.

I think for lsdb it does make sense to have 'these made up names' in order to categorize the various sets.

I guess compared to 'years ago' these names will change and new ones get introduced. If I remember correctly I think Psychologic made a comment some time ago about 'early terror' when this (relatively recent) one got added to lsdb.

I don't think it make much sense to start talking about the meaning of the word 'early'.

I think the main problem here is the difference in terminology between the European mainland and the British Islands. Almost every 'hardcore' related genre on here can be translated to another term.

(Almost) All the genres on here where added after users asking for it and it's use was being discussed and agreed upon.

'Little Britisher' put in his place I'd better go back into my box again.
