Facets (@facets-music) has been active in the scene since 2012. He comes to New York by the way of London and Belgrade, with a passion for all things leftfield, electro, techno, acid, balearic and beyond.
In addition to his duties as resident DJ, Facets is also glitterballnyc.com's primary event curator and booker. Over the past five years, he has booked the likes of Willie Burns, Antoni Maiovvi, Manfredas, Hugo Capablanca, Man Power, Gavin Russom, In Flagranti, DJ Overdose, Jex Opolis, Nathan Gregory Wilkins, Tronik Youth, Brennan Green and more around Brooklyn and Manhattan's top venues.
Facets has been billed with some of the scene's top talent such as Kink, John Talabot, Lindstrom, Pearson Sound, George FitzGerald, Kim Ann Foxman, Joakim, Moscoman, Rone, Zombies in Miami, Khidja, Naduve and lots more.
Facets recently founded Samo Records (@samorecords), a New York-based label exploring the darker, moodier side of electronic music. The label's first release by Pixelife debuted in early April (Digital out in May) and features remixes by Antoni Maiovvi and Tronik Youth.
