Switch Technique not my thing but I see you have added an MP3 file which I am assuming is a converted from a MPEG-4 file from a rip from Mixcloud. If not and it is an original MP3 file from somewhere else, or you have managed to still obtain the original MP3 uplpoad if there was one please ignore my comments.
MPEG-4 files on Mixcloud are the lowest bit rate 64kpbs available. That is roughly the equivelent of 96kpbs converted to an MP3. There is no point nearly trebling the file size to roughly 256kpbs which I see here (Zippy). If this is the case and what you have done all you are doing is making the file size bigger for no audio quality gain just a larger file size for no reason.
Just trying to be helpful not criticism if you have the original MP3. Mixcloud treats it's Users like idiots converting all files to the lowest bitrate possible to save storage space for it's files understandable for sure. But this just makes the quality of the file shit which is the most important thing really. If the original uploaders gave you an MP3 download option I would not be saying this but few do.
In other words Mixcloud is crap as far as that is concerned, but in todays throw away world maybe people just want to listen to something once and move on not realising they have shit audio quality. Eventually a lot of these uploads will no longer exist as nobody will have a file on their hardrive or where ever to upload again.

Thanks for taking the time and being helpful. I did use a mixcloud downloader that allowes me to save the set directly from mixcloud as an VBR mp3. I personally dont like working with mp4 files in general.
To keep it simple and short. I did want the file to be on my harddrive in mp3. My current method of getting the file provides me with a quality that is fine for me. And i like to share the file, because i assume there are people alive who have a similar opinion.

Sorry for ranting on can't help myself at times. We are the oldschool a dieing breed, but sooner or later if it is just streaming nothing will exist anymore. I've a load of mp3's I don't even like but just keep them in case somebody wants them. Thank you for your reply.
I don't mind! I'm sorry for responding a bit cranky sometimes. I do share your view about sets that are made public with only a streaming link. I don't like it, so i rather get the file myself, than waiting for the original file to make an appearance. I do care about quality so i try to use the best option available.

What downloader do you use? I use offliberty, but that gives me a mp4 file and as you I don't like those..
