"This mix was created to help promote the new documentary Industrial Soundtrack for the Urban Decay, which chronicles the emergence and influence of industrial music. We decided to focus on artists that have influenced us over the years, in terms of sound and/or ideas. The mix moves in a roughly chronological order from some of the pioneering artists of the late 70s and early 80s, through the second wave of more rhythmic styles like EBM, and on to more recent forms of rhythmic noise and power electronics."
