Interesting what a difference a year can make. "Back then" I found some parts here very hard to get into and so strange because I never heard anything comparable.
Now that I have more to compare I see it way easier to get into and also way better to listen, awesome mix :)

If you're into utter garbage created by a nutcase, by all means check out Merzbow.

Seriously guys? 14 pages discography on discogs?? :o
Even if I WOULD want to listen to this stuff I'd dont know where to start.

Atm I'm trying Tapage, Hecq, Subheim, Cubic Nomad, Bersarin Quartett. If you also know sth in this direction I'd be more than happy :)
Or of course a certain hint on a Merzbow album

I personally am a huge fan of Access to Arasaka. Try Oppidan and Void (), see if you enjoy that or if that's too glitchy for your taste.
Datach'i and xanopticon are also very good, but even more glitchy.
A lot easier to get into is Millipede or Sleep Clinic.

In regards to merzbow, I wasn't kidding when I said it was garbage. Don't bother with it, it's a typical example of somebody who's too excentric and artsy for his own good and churns out the most unlistenable wank possible just to be unique.

Okay I noted this, thanks a lot :) I see the Access to arasaka albums are released on Tympanik Audio, I just heard good stuff from and about that label. And they're both reviewed by Headphone commute too, so thats a plus too imo.
But I just ordered a lot of CDs so if I have the money again I'll order them and let you know

Okay than I won't spend money on that, doesn't seem like sth I could enjoy. Thanks anyway ;)

You can listen to them on spotify or bandcamp anyway to see if you'd enjoy it.

Agreed, I like weird unaccessable music, but Merzbow is way too far off for me.

It's way over the top, modern art like, composition of, well basically, noise.

That's because he records nearly every session in his studio and turns all of it (most of the time uncut) to an album haha. I wouldn't agree it's all garbage, some things he does surely are interesting at the very least, but to call it music is a brick too far for me :p
