It has been some time now since I first got the idea of making a “harder” Hard Dance Session. Mainly because there were some tracks still in my playlist that I have never used in a recording.

Second to that there are 2 tracks in particular that I wanted to highlight and let you, my listeners know about. Allthough I did use them in a mix back in 2010, Shakshuka and Lord Of The Shadows by Apex Mind from Israel are 2 very underplayed but incredibly strong tracks. They realy push the boundaries between Hardstyle and Industrial hardcore and are in my humble opinion beyond RAW. They are among my favorite Hardstyle tracks ever!. I really wish there was more of that now a days...

It also felt great to be able to put Francesco Zeta - Oh in this mix. It has been in my collection since it came out in early 2012, but was to “awkward” to put in any of my mixes till now. Although a bit weird I sincerely love the insane kick in that track. Italian Madness for sure!

Also for the first time there is a track in this Session that I produced myself. Allthough I havent been making music recently, it felt appropriate to use this one as a closing track for this mix. Raw, yet timide it is in my opinion the best I ever got out of my software and reminds me of the days I used to make (arguably something that sound like) music.

By the way, if you ever find yourself in need of a good and healthy meal, just make yourself some SHAKSHUKA!!

4 large ripe tomatoes or 410g can chopped tomatoes
1 tbsp olive oil
1/4 brown onion, diced
1 small jalapeño chilli, sliced
1/2 small green capsicum
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp ground cumin
salt and pepper, to taste
2 free-range eggs
1 tbsp flat-leaf parsley, finely chopped
