Tracker Special Part 2 + Speedcomp 3 @ Thematics Radio

"Following up on December 2010’s Tracker Special, Croy Broodfood came into the studio again this week for Round 2. This time around the focus was more on jungle and breakbeat mods, which again can be downloaded in the playlist to put into your own trackers.

This special also coincided with SPEEDCOMP 3 which is a fun little competition time waster. At the start of the show, ten samples were unleashed upon the Facebook event page to those who’d set aside half an hour of time to waste on their Saturday night (appreciate it!). The goal/rules are quite simple: to make a song from scratch using only those ten sounds in half an hour, using no VSTis or other similar plugins, then post an mp3 of your song up online after half an hour. The second part of the show are the contributions from those who played along. If you’re interested in making a tune for Speedcomp 4 on 8th September 2300 AEST, check out the Facebook Event Page."
