construction workers ..work really hard all life..and will never earn a little of that...
First of all, construction workers are usually paid quite good. A friend of mine has a house with a pool and just gave me a TV because he had to many of 'm. He's a constructionworker...
And another thing.. It's not weird that soccerplayers are paid that much. First of all, their working period is an estimated 10 years? In 10 years the are supposed to earn the income of 50 years.. AND they work in a high-risk sector. If they get injured, they won't get a new team, no money.. a.k.a. screwed.
I'm not saying is good that people pay 94 million.. but on the other hand, they'll need to earn quite a lot just to comepare with other workers..

to point out the obvious yes Soccer is a career but when your a lil boy you dream of playing for your favourite team & you would play for them for free..
The transfer fee is fkn ridiculous & another fine example of the world gone mad, these guys ain't doctors they do not save lifes, they don't have important tasks such as running a country, flying an aeroplane, curing cancer.
These pricks get paid millions a year while the supporters have to fork out up & beyond $100 a ticket to watch their team, most are arrogant pricks who can't even be arsed signing autorgraphs for fans (Steven Gerrard a fine example), they forget where they come from, to point out I am not jealous & yes of course I would love their wages but it's getting out of control, I hope Real go bankrupt from what I read they are allready over $300 million US in debt yet they have just forked out over 130 million pounds on Kaka & Ronaldo, to put it in perspective Real need to sell 30 million Ronaldo shirts to get their money back, that will not happen.
It's disappointing & FIFA need to step in & put a MAX transfer cap of around $15million @ most that way players will stay @ the cliubs they love & not chase the $$$$$, you dutchies should know more than others if the entire 1995 Ajax team stayed together you would of won several Champions League in the past 14 years
I hope Ronaldo gets injured, that will teach Real a huge lesson..
btw Real Madrid allready 2/1 favourites to win the CL next season

Oh yes it will.
Remember Zidane (or Ronaldo i don't know exactly), they earned his transferprice back in a week with selling shirts with his name

I'm a soccerplayer myself, but I've no knowledge about the financial side.
But Real had also to buy his contract from Man Utd.
I've heard that Puyol/Xavi (FCB) is worth about 150 mil because they have contracts for a long period.
