General discussion / Leaking Tracks

As a lot of you may know a very well respected and excellent label has had yet another leak of their new tracks before the official release. It is still a growing label and it is important that they make the small amount of money that they can do from these releases.

Some people dont realise the opportunity they are being given when added to the promo list of a label and these people ruin it for everyone else as well.

As a mark of respect something should be done to find out who is leaking these tracks because the lat thing we want is a favourite label of everyones going down the shitter because some arsehole hasnt got enough respect to keep the tracks to themselves.

And if you are the person who is leaking the tracks, fucking shame on you.

I do agree with you there, but can't you be more specific, when I receive a promo track I just use it for my own collection/mixes and I never consider uploading it, but when it's scantraxx or some other shit label who already has enough money from playing cheese tracks on cheese parties whatever go ahead leak whatever u want. But it's important to give new guys the opportunity to grow aswell and if they really deserve it, don't leak and like=buy.

Theracords isnt much a small label anymore i think. xP

Theracords is still a small label. They make next to nothing from digital sales and its even worse when people leak the tracks weeks before the release date.

Its there fault, they trust the peeps and they shouldn't ..

there's no reason for a person who has the privilege and trust to be on the mailing list of Theracords (or another label, or a DJ, or artist) and receiving promos, to do that

Too bad, so sad, they shouldn't give their unreleased tracks to anyone besides inside the label.
