Hey guys,
I proposed this idea before but here is it again.

Imo there's need for an easy way to keep most of the sets available without broken links. The idea of this site is to have a database for every single set ever played.

Atm you can notifiy mods of a dead link but if all links are dead nothing happens.

My idea is that once all links of a set are dead the set automatically shows up in a "re-up request section" or whatever you want to call it.
Just like there is "top liveset" or "latest liveset" there should be "re-up requests".

you could automatically notify ppl that favorited the set with a pm that it needs a re-up
or even everybody that rated the set positive receives an automatic notification but that's perhaps too much

once a new link is up and working the set vanishes from the re-up section and is ready for download
the user who requested a re-up should be notified then too

anyway, what do you think guys?

Re-up section is good, but I wouldn't use the PM idea, if people want to be helpfull they'll check that section anyway

yeah, I reckon pming everybody who rated the set positive is exaggerated
but ppl who favorited a set are very likely to still have it on their HDD + they will want other ppl to listen to that specific set ---> they are very likely to re-up it

you could sort the missing sets by 'amateur/unknown' and 'professional'
ootherwise it's quite a big mess
+ sortable by genre

Btw, a lot of sets are out of links but they're not yet closed so there will be many more sets offline.

i dont have all those sets lol, damn it's so many
but i'd certainly re-up a favorited set of mine if it's down

Kan dit niet gewoon als gedeelte rechtsboven binnen de site gemaakt kunnen worden.
Dit is toch waar 't om draait, 't downloaden van livesets.
Dus als er nu een speciaal gedeelte komt waar het gemeldt kan worden zou dat handig zijn.

Want 'n topic als deze is na 'n paar dagen ook weer teruggezakt.
