Surly that would fit under 'Techtrance'?
Same as Hard Dance. Just another name for Hardtrance.

Too many genres to pick from on here anyway. I wouldn't know the difference between half of them! There is this new one called 'Moonbatone' or something. Kev Willow explains what it is in one of his production videos and its basically slowed down house. Then all these up tempo genre like, Splittercore, Speedcore, Frenchcore etc. I can't tell the difference.

Nah man it wouldn't, because I mean, you have tech trance that Marcel woods an that do and then what Bryan Kearney an co do. If you look at the gearbox sets, the only ones i would say are hard hard trance recently are by the likes of danny V., Dj W, loony, young, pred an so on. the rest is tech dance. Lee mac, Joe-e, Re-Born & Verjo, Nicco etc. Sets where most of the tracks, if not all are Tech dance and the trance is non existent.

As with Splittercore, speedcore an that, there is a difference but im not 100% sure what they are. :p

Frenchcore is slower than Speedcore by a lot and typically starts at a high BPM like 200, and can go into Terrorcore terriroty. Frenchcore bass is either bouncy, which goes well with Hardtek, or more "gabber"-like bass that's less bouncy and more distorted.
Speedcore is Hardcore sped up to a BPM I con't even remember but it just sounds like noise, unless the track has a melody inside of it and some type of broken beat.
Splittercore is noise.

xD The splittercore thing was just a joke, but I don't see the point of having a splittercore genre if it's just a beat so fast you can barely hear a kickdrum, just a constant drone.

Harder edge.

Activators stuff Usually is a fusion of Techno, Hardstyle, Electro/house and Hard dance

We don't have a genretag for drone either. Also drone is something completely different from speedcore :p

Drone is comparable to ambient, been around longer than most of these made up genres.

There's already a genre for nails on a blackboard, its called dubstep.

_O- _O- Depends on the artist, imo. Now you've got me interested in Drone because I'm imagining possibilites besides just a "ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo"

No, thats basically what it is. Drones are the ultimate monotone musical pieces.

Nuh, Tech Dance and Tech Trance are miles apart. Tech Trance is mainly trance influenced. More along the lines of Marco V, Marcel Woods kinda stuff. Tech Dance is Re-Born & Verjo, DiabLik, Dermot Bateman, Lee Mac, David Rust and the likes.

Dunno mate. I'm reluctant to call it subground because the donors started it and im reluctant to call it Harder Edge because the Donors came up with that phrase and the last thing they need is a sub genre named after 'their' so called style.

hmmm, wouldn't agree with that. I think a lot of people were influenced by Kamui but the donors were more so influenced by... fuck knows, probably just Electro in general.
