Would it be worthwhile changing the forum part of the website to accomadate sub forum posts.

Was just thinking it would be good to have a new releases topic but within that topic you can post sub topics for each release, that way there arent loads of new releases within one topic?

yeah, just so the forum part of the website is up to a good standard like other sites.

Ill try and explain my idea a bit further...

Within the active topics bit, it would be good to have a system that allows people to constantly post new releases, or party updates without clogging up the whole of active topics... for example it could look like this

NEW/UPCOMMING RELEASES (Last post by djdesudo - Psyko Punkz - Another Pish Release)
PARTY DISCUSSION (Last post by Nevio - Defqon1)
RADIO SHOWS (Last Post by Tita - The Magic Show)
GENERAL DISCUSSION (Last post by ... blah blah)


then when you click new/upcomming releases it takes you to the category where you get more sub categorys ...

Just throwing ideas in just now but what do you think of the idea..

The important thing that i was hoping to get from it was that when a topic is updated instead of the sub category going to Active Topics, it would be the main category... if you understand what i mean?

Not a good idea. LSDB is populair because it is just a small simple website, would be better to keep it that wat.

This site is popular because of the outlay, its easy to access livesets. Great way to find good unknown sets to because of the voting system.

This site could be the be all and end all of all your musical needs if we had a better set up for the forum.

Yup, and an 'other' for the smaller radios etc

Only 1 thing i'd change if i were bert If a lot of releases are being discussed, only the releases are shown in 'last forum posts'.. maybe an idea to make only 1 or maybe 2 releases visible in 'last forum posts', and that the remaining part will be filled up with other topics

Im liking the new look in the Forum! Hopefully it will attract more people there now.
