2003-present, because I just started getting into it last year. I like old Hardcore, especially the early rave shit, but it gets so repetitive. I personally like the kinda slower stuff, the kick is more distorted, lotsa bass, and there's more types now, like Industrial, and that extreme hardcore I sometimes hear, like Meccano Twins - Alpha Release. Hardest kick I heard.
