We’ll be delighted to provide you our unreleased tracks so you can get inspiration from those again without people noticing. You clearly do this for the love of the music and not for the love of money.
What a masterpiece, amazing how you created all those hits by yourself.
Matia Bazar’s ‘Ti Sento’ for instance, an Italian track full of emotion that really meant something important to me.
(which we have been working on for weeks to make it 100% perfect and carrying the same emotion as the original)

Using vocals from an old song and create something new out of it is something else than ripping a complete track, change a few beats, add a yelling german and release under your name.
The first single "Ride on Time" was an international hit, making Top 10 in many countries and No. 1 in the UK, soon becoming the UK's best-selling single of 1989. The song heavily sampled "Love Sensation" by Loleatta Holloway, a 1980 disco hit. The Black Box title is derived from a misunderstanding of the lyrics "Cause you're right on time".
Black Box stole Loleatha Halloways Right On Time. It is here voice. They used a model for the video. Dan Hartman who wroute the song and Loleatha halloway did not get a penny for it.
interview with Scooter from the recent BME Festival on 15/9/2009.
STHU: You're releasing your brand new album "Under The Radar Over The Top". How much time did it take to produce it?
H.P.: One week. <laughing>
Rick: Like always, huh? Well actually about one year. If we count from the ideas and concept to the final processes, it was one year.
STHU: You've just released your latest single "J'adore Hardcore", which contained the same melody as "Düp Düp" by Mickey Krause. Some fans state that Scooter started to steal melodies and rip off other artists. What do you say?
H.P.: We always stole from others, from the beginning <laughing>
Michael: That track was done at the last album already, so Mickey stole it from us! <laughing>
H.P.: But really, it's true. I've got an email from Jens, the manager, that this song would be good for Scooter. We said OK, and we had this one already on an earlier album, with a little difference.
STHU: You mean "The Shit That Killed Elvis", right?
H.P.: Exactly, but we decided to do it again, make it better and stuff. And during that, this guy from Mallorca came out with it. You know, this melody is from an older house track, which I don't remember the name of...
STHU: "Chase The Sun"?
H.P.: Yes, that's it, thank you! So this one was already very famous in England, when there was the darts championship, the whole crowd was singing this song when a player won the game. And it also appeared on the Internet, so we decided to make it.
STHU: You say that you don't like the track "I'm Your Pusher" and the album "Sheffield", but you never said why. It's not a bad track, and the album became gold in many countries.
H.P.: Yes, yes, 'Sheffield" isn't that bad, but sometimes in your career you come to a point, where you don't know which way to go. It was the same at "The Ultimate Aural Orgasm" - it was an album without a special concept. We produced it, but we didn't know exactly what we were doing. Same goes for "Sheffield", when we came up with "I'm Your Pusher", we tried the best we could, but at the end, we were not happy with it. That just happen sometimes, we have nearly 50 singles released now, and I think it's natural that you don't like all of them equally.
STHU: Why don't you play the track "Faster Harder Scooter" lately? It's one of the most characteristic, the most "scooterish" track you've had.
H.P.: Yeah but that's your opinion <laughing> Others wants us to play something else.
Rick: You see around 50 singles you can't play all of them, so we have to select some tracks. And of course people want to hear some album stuff too, and we can't perform 70 tracks in a show.
H.P.: And this track was played on almost every concert before, and sometimes it gets a bit boring even for us. Those times we sit down, listen to old stuff and decide which one to take on a show, or remix it if necessary. Maybe we will do that with "Faster Harder Scooter" too. We did it with "Hyper Hyper", we got a little bit bored of it, so we made a new version in 2004, and now we're happy to perform it on stage again.
STHU: Have you ever came up with a new track while on the tour bus or during a flight to a concert?
Rick: Yes, "How Much Is The Fish?" was something like that. We were touring in Russia, and the idea came during the tour. I can't remember how exactly, but when we came back to Hamburg, we started to work on it immediately.
STHU: At the last time, you've managed to beat Madonna on the charts. What motivates you in music?
H.P.: I motivate him, and him <points at Rick and Micheal> <laughing> or else there wouldn't be any songs. Rick sleeps the whole day, and Michael just hang on Facebook or play with his iPhone.
Michael: Yeah and you just watch cars on the Internet!
H.P.: Well yes, so I think cars motivate us <laughing> But really, for me it's still good fun, I like to travel the world, touring. And of course when you're touring a lot, you have to have new music, new tracks, or else it gets boring. We've been doing this for twenty years now, it was the same before Scooter, when Rick and I were at the first band. We're producing music, and I think we'll continue doing this, until... yeah, we "go upstairs".
And that's all for now guys! Keep your eyes on the Twitter feed!

btw Technoboy didnt gave credits to the band Matia Bazar, only says who written "Ti Siento" song, not who performed. If wasn't for this war Technoboy vs Scooter, i wouldn't knew that Matia Bazar was the original artist of "Ti Siento"
